In 2008


Our boy Sherman returns to the Show ring more mature in 2008. Sherman (AM/CAN CH Bravo N Sunset Stealing Time) started out this year in grand style talking two BOB awards. 

His health testing is now complete. Sherman is now available for Stud to approved Bitches. (Frozen Semen Available) Please go to Sherman's page for more information.

 

June 2008 

  • 3 Best of Breed Wins, Group 1

    Sherman was awarded BOB at the Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers show, The following weekend at the Bell Vernon Kennel Assoc. shows was awarded 2 BOBs amd a Group 1.

 

May 2008 

  • 5 Best of Breed Wins, Group 3 & Group 4

    Sherman was awarded BOB and a Group 3 at the Olympia Dog Fanciers Assoc. show and he was awarded 3 BOB at the Southern Oregon and Klamath Falls shows. At the Mt Baker shows Sherman pick up 2 BOB wins and a Group 4. 

 

April 2008 

  • 4 Best of Breed Wins

    Sherman was awarded BOB both days at the Ephrata-Moses Lake Kennel Club shows. Then followed that up with 2 more BOB at the Lewiston Idaho shows.

 

March 2008 

  • 3 Best of Breed Wins

    After taking the month of February off, our boy Sherman returned to the ring and received 2 BOB wins in Albany, OR at the Chintimini Kennel Club Shows.

    Sherman followed it up with another BOB at the Peninsula Dog Fanciers Club show

January 2008 

  • 3 Best of Breed Wins

    Our boy Sherman started off the year with 2 BOB wins his first weekend out at the Western Washington Cluster shows in Puyallup, WA

    The following weekend at the prestigious Rose City Classic shows in Portland, OR Sherman picked up another BOB win. This time over 4 specials that qualified for the 2007 ABC Top Twenty competition at this years ABC National shows. 

 

October 2007 

 

  • Best of Opposite Win

    We sent our boy Sherman, BPIS Am/Can CH Bravo N Sunset Stealing Time, on his first road trip down to California for the East Bay Boxer Club Specialties and the Del Valle Dog Club Of Livermore shows. There were 60+ boxers entered each day at these shows.

    At the Specialties, Sherman showed very well and caught the eye of both Judge Judy Horton (Fri) and Judge Jack Ireland (Sat). Both days it came down to Sherman and Bosco (CH Duba-Dae's Who's Your Daddy) for BOS, with Bosco getting the nod.

    On day 2 of the Del Valle Dog Club of Livermore shows, Sherman's handler Carmen Ruby called and gave us the great news that our boy was selected for BOS by Judge Dr. Gerald M. Mager.

 

 

September 2007 

  • Best of Breed Win

    At the Gig Harbor KC,  Sherman was awarded Best of Breed.  Sherman was chosen over 2 other Specials by Judge Col. Joe B. Purkhiser. Our thanks to Judge Purkhiser for selecting Sherman.

    It was exactly a year to the day (9/23/06) that Sherman finished his American CH at the Gig Harbor KC show with a BOB and a Grp 2.

    Sherman and his handler Carmen Ruby have become quite the team in the ring! Thank you Carmen for your great handling of Sherman. Also, thanks again for all the support from our boxer breeder and handler friends.

 

August 2007 

  • Best of Opposite Win

    In August  Sherman was awarded BOS at the Nisqually Kennel Club show. Sherman was chosen over 5 other Specials. 

    At the Pacific NW Boxer Club Specialty, Sherman was selected as one of two finalists for BISS with 8 Specials competing. The BISS winner went to a 15 time BIS winner. Its was an honor for Sherman to be chosen as a finalist by Judge Sinclair-Wood.

 

June 2007 

  • 2 Best of Breed Wins

    We celebrated our boy Sherman's 2nd birthday with two Best of Breed awards at the Yakima Valley Kennel Club shows under Judge Robert J. Shreve and Judge Charles E Trotter. Sherman was again expertly handled by Carmen Ruby.   

May 2007 

  • Best of Breed

    Sherman was awarded Best of Breed at the Olympia Dog Fanciers Club show under Judge Carl J. Anderson. Sherman was expertly handled by Carmen Ruby.   

March 2007 

  • Best of Breed

    At just 22 months of age, Sherman was awarded Best of Breed at the Peninsula Dog Fanciers Club show under Judge Cindy Meyer. He also made the cut down to the final 6 in the very large Working Group competition. On day 2 , Sherman went Best of Opposite under Judge Brian Meyer. Sherman was expertly handled by Carmen Ruby.   

 

September 2006 

  • NEW AKC CHAMPION!!

    At 15 months Sherman became a New AKC Champion! Sherman finished in grand style taking Winners Dog/Best of Winners/Best of Breed and a Group 2 placement at the Gig Harbor Kennel Club shows under Judge Donald F. Carmody. On day 2 as a first time Special, Sherman again went Best of Breed under Judge John M. Rowton. Sherman was expertly handled by Tiffany Skinner/Shea Skinner/Carmon Ruby.   


  • Winners Dog and Best of Winners 

    At the Emerald Cluster shows in Eugene, OR Sherman was awarded WD and BW by Judge Ms. Dany Canino. Sherman was expertly shown by Wendy Bettis. 

August 2006 

  • Two 5 Point Majors and Two RWD to Majors 

    • After spending a very successful 2 1/2 months of showing in Canada, under his breeder/co-owner Karen Descahambault, Sherman made a triumphant return to the States. Taking Winners Dog and BOS at the Nisqually KC his first time back in the USA show ring. Sherman was expertly shown to Winners Dog by Wendy Bettis, and to BOS by Karen Descahambault. A special thanks to Judge Robert L. Vandiver for selecting Sherman out of such fine group of over 70 boxers. Sherman went RWD to a 4 Pt Major on day 2 at the Nisqually KC.

    • During the ABC Regional Cluster show, Sherman won his 12-18 mo class 4 of the 5 days. On Friday at the American Boxer Club Regional Show, Sherman was awarded Winners Dog by Judge Jack Ireland. Sherman was shown all week by Wendy and Jim Bettis.

    • On Sunday at the Olympic KC show, Sherman finished the week taking RWD to a 4 pt Major, again being shown by Wendy Bettis.

 

July 2006 

  • Best of Breed and Group 3 As a Special at the Evelyn Kenny Kennel & Obedience Club shows, on day 3 Sherman took BOB and a Group 3, over 8 other specials. Thank you Judge, Mrs. W. Maisey for selecting our boy out of such a very nice selection of boxers competing for BOB.  Sherman was again handled by his Breeder/Co-Owner Karen Deschambault.

June 2006 

  • Sherman, Bravo N Sunset Stealing Time, his first time in the ring with Breeder/Co-Owner Karen Deschambault at the Northern Alberta Canine Association, Edmonton, Alberta takes Winners Dog, Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Breed for 5 points.

  • Sherman does it again, in the ring with Breeder/Co-Owner Karen Deschambault at the Northern Alberta Canine Association, Edmonton, Alberta takes Winners Dog, Best of Winners for another 5 points.

  • NEW CHAMPION!!!! Sherman goes Winners Dog, Best of Winners... the third day in a row to complete his Canadian Championship. He was again handled by his Breeder/Co-Owner Karen Deschambault at the Northern Alberta Canine Association, Edmonton, Alberta.

  • 3 Best of Breeds! and 2 Group Placements! In his second weekend of showing in Canada at the Grande Prairie Regional KC shows, competing as a Special for the first time, Sherman took 3 BOB's, a Group 3 and a Group 4, over 4 other Specials. Sherman was again handled by his Breeder/Co-Owner Karen Deschambault.

  • 4 Best of Breeds! and 4 Group Placements! In his second weekend as Special in Canada at the Lakeland KC shows, Sherman took 4 BOB's, a Group 2, two Group 3s and a Group 4, over 5 other Specials. Sherman was again handled by his Breeder/Co-Owner Karen Deschambault.

May 2006 

  • Our boy Sherman, Bravo N Sunset Stealing Time, took Best Puppy in Show at the Cour'delane Dog Fanciers Club All-Breed Show. 

    This was a totally new experience for us..... Shea Skinner showed Sherman to perfection in the Puppy Working Group and Best Puppy In Show competitions. We want to thank Judge Dale Simmons for recognizing Sherman in Group and Judge Joyce A. Vanek for selecting Sherman for Best Puppy In Show.


    Another big thank you to the overwhelming and much appreciated support we received from the other Boxer Breeders at the show. There was quite a contingent of Boxer Breeders form WA, OR and Canada that cheered Sherman to this nice win.
     

  • Sherman headed north after the Idaho shows to be with his Breeder, Karen Deschambault of Bravo Boxers, to work toward his CKC Championship. Please look for Karen and Sherman in the show ring.
