Sunset Boxers was established in 2003 in Lacey, WA with the purchase of our first boxer, Wiseman's Diamonds R Forever, "Tiffany".

We found Tiffany, after about a 6 month search at Wiseman Boxers near Portland, OR. Tiffany is from a breeding of Am./Can. CH Renee's Brooklyn Bruiser (Buster) X BNB Blue Jean Baby (Nellie) by Michele Kuhnau, of Wiseman Boxers.

Not only did we gain a great companion and show dog in Tiffany, we also gained a valuable mentor, supporter, and friend in Michele, as well as, the rest of the Kuhnau family.

Along with the Kuhnau family, we have also been helped and supported by Renee Howard of Renee's Boxers. Renee is the proud owner and breeder of Tiffany's sire Buster.

When it came time to take Tiffany into the show ring we met Cathy Spears of Pentastar Boxers. Cathy has been Tiffany's handler form the very first show, and another good mentor helping us learn more and more.

In 2005, we added a new addition to our Family in Bravo N Sunset Stealing Time, "Sherman". Sherman came to us from Karen & Rick Deschambault of RiKar Boxers, Red Deer, AB Canada.

At Sunset Boxers dog temperament, health and striving toward the boxer standard are our top priorities. Our boxers are health tested prior to any breeding and we only breed with boxers that have been health tested with positive results as well. We will not knowingly do a breeding of dogs with known health issues.

We have made numerous friends around the show ring, handling classes and other Boxer events. Everyone we've met have been helpful and supportive. They've also been very patient with all our questions as we continue to learn more and more about this great breed and this business.
